REVIEW Shark Navigator Lift Away Professional NV356E
I had seen the good reviews about this vacuum and finally ordered it when we moved: our new house had a mix of thick carpet, linoleum, and wood floors and my old vacuum wasn’t going to cut it.
It’s awesome. It pulls the dirt out of next week, I swear to you. Almost every use we had to empty the container which made me feel full of regret for not ordering it sooner, because it was clearly having to do the work of my old vacuum on our area rugs. It transitions between the floor types with a quick click, and the wand and attachments are well stored and quickly accessible to make transitioning from floors to ceilings quick (when you find that giant cobweb and go OMG and need the wand like NOW)
Best of all – it’s really pretty quiet! It seriously feels like a toy since it’s such a fun little hard worker. Yes, some things could be better. The cord wrap is a bit awkward. The hook that keeps the cord off the ground is too wide and the cord falls out. But those are minor pains compared to how awesome this vacuum is. One warning: the first time I tried to remove the canister to empty it I did manage to empty the canister all over the floor. Whoops! Good thing my awesome vacuum could clean it all up again!
My old InSinkErator wasn’t getting the job done. I felt compelled to replace it after my kitchen sink backed up and I had to get into the plumbing to remove the clog (carrot skins for what it’s worth). I went for the Evolution Compact, because it was a newer model, has 2 levels of grind that can handle difficult foods like carrot skins and potato peels. It was also more affordable than the other compactors in the Evolution series. I’ve been using it for a month and the difference between the Evolution and the old-style InSinkErator is satisfyingly stark. The Evolution Compact is whisper quiet compared to its predecessor. It doesn’t shake my sink like the old model, either. Aside from these more aesthetic benefits, the garbage disposal powerfully disintegrates all the food I’ve thrown at it in an instant, even the peels. I am very satisfied with the Evolution Compact and am glad I didn’t settle on the older InSinkErator models that are still being sold at a somewhat lower price point; this model is worth the premium.
Duraflame DFI 5010 Electric Infrared Quartz Fireplace Stove with 3D Flame Effect
The flames look better than any of the other brands I saw in stores. The 3D logs really make the difference, and the beveled glass helps the illusion. Other models had the heater underneath the fake flames, but I thought since I have hardwood floors I probably ought to go for heating element on top just in case. The sides and top stay cool to the touch, so it would be safe for critters and kiddos. The fan hums along, but it’s no worse than the fan from my house main heat running. I can’t imagine any fan forced heat being any more quiet, so it’s all about expectations. I like the thermostat being in 2 degree increments, and the option of timer shut off. I ordered this for my master bedroom– since it’s furthest away from the main thermostat, it tends to be a bit cooler than the rest of the house. So far it works great to warm up the bedroom to match the rest of the house, and I can use the timer shut off and not worry about having a space heater running while sleeping. Plus, the rosy glow is supposed to be good for helping to wind down for sleep. I have a Himalayan pink salt lamp in my room also, so I thought these “flames” would be a nice addition to the ambiance of my wind-down time. See my video for a demo of the features.
Been using the device for several months now and can’t imagine cooking steak without it. Everyone who enjoys a good steak should own this. I don’t use the bluetooth functionality because it’s a complete gimmick (all cooking devices that offer it are). I work in IT and just want to push a button and have a perfect steak, using the bluetooth apparently requires jumping through a lot of hoops according to other reviews. In fact I read reviews saying that updating the device forces you to use bluetooth so I avoided all that. I just unboxed it and plugged it in to power and started cooking away. Without using the bluetooth you can control the unit directly so no worries there. Without bluetooth it does exactly what I want it to do. I’ll never got back to cooking steaks the traditional way.

I read so many reviews about the saltwater system, and took a chance even with the bad reviews. I have been using an Intex sand filter (12”) for 5 years now (as seen in my photo). My pool is an Intex Prism Frame 15×48 round. After setting up the pool and beginning to fill, I got the sand filter set up on the pool and attached the saltwater system. Getting that added was super easy! Next I got the sand filter running and added the salt. I thought this would be trial and error as many people say the unit threw codes. I calculated the amount of salt and added it (2 3/4 bags for our 15×48-I used the chart in the booklet that came with it…online calculators told me to add more which would have resulted in a ‘high salt’ alert) and ran the pump without the saltwater system turn on, for the recommended 24 hours so the salt would circulate and dissolve. I followed the instructions and turned on the saltwater system and set the timer. One thing I didn’t realize is that later in the Manual it says at startup you should use the ‘boost’ button! This has the unit make chlorine faster. Later on you will use this to ‘shock’ your pool instead of pouring in chlorine shock! Perfect! After running it for 14 hours on boost, I have the perfect level of chlorine. Add some stabilizer and there you have it! A perfectly balanced pool. After that you just run it for the allotted time in the manual. For my size pool, with stabilizer) it says 3 hours. Without stabilizer 6.
I am really happy I took the chance on this! Be sure not to put too much salt in at first, and you will be up and running!

We set our pool up and had clear water the first 3 days last year, and from then on, it was HORRIBLE. We did everything (chemical-related) and the whole season stunk – no clarity, green, just questionable to even be in. The cartridge filter included with the pool was crap. We couldn’t buy enough filters to keep it working well, we hated the idea of all the chemicals we had to add. It made life very difficult! AND it increased our electric bill about $100 a month! We then left the filter in the shed over the winter, where it froze the grease in the motor and no longer worked for this season. THANK GOD! So we did THIS….
This is by far the best generator I’ve had in its category. I just went through hurricane Irma and it ran everything I needed to (minus AC). Ran TV, 4 box fans, large refrigerator, a few lamps and wireless router in addition to phone chargers etc. I was out of power for 3 days and ran it constant on 7 gallons of fuel. I never exceeded 40% capacity.
Would strongly recommend this to anyone needing a backup generator for the home or camping. Super quiet compared to others.
Listen here my fellow campers. I am one of those people that does extensive research before making any purchase so that I am sure its what I want, and I dont end up spending 100+ dollars on something I will regret later. I was so happy with this purchase, I am not sure where to start explaining. Ive camped probably 8 times with this tent since Ive bought it, from Desert heat in the Mojave to Snow in the Sequoias, even really windy conditions at the top of some ridges, even rain and hail storms. This tent has not only held up great, but its kept me really dry.
Let me just start by saying while I was really Blown Away by the quality of this TV wall mount that I had got from my garage to hang a 50 inch TV up instead of having it on a bench I had out there. So I was pretty anxious to open it up and try it I was actually really surprised on how much weight the product itself actually has the bracket on him seems very well-constructed everything seem to be very sturdy and not flimsy. So once I figured out where the studs were and mark them with the stud finder it was really easy to install and maybe took me 30 minutes to install it it took me longer to find the right bit to install the lag bolts into the wall. I was kind of nervous when installing it because this is the first wall mount I’ve ever installed by myself. I was actually really surprised at how easy it was. my 50-inch really isn’t that heavy of a TV I was able to install it by myself with no help and hold the TV up why I got the bracket into place for the tv to be mounted on. Also I like how it’s really easy to the TV swivels and hold the TV pretty securely as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this wall mount to anybody out there considering getting one this one’s definitely worth the money and also a lot cheaper than some of the other ones I seen on there you can read some of the other reviews that converts for have a great this product actually is.

REVIEW CORE 9 Person Extended Dome Tent Unboxing and Set up
I liked this tent, it went up easily. I put it up with my 7 year old, could have done it myself but it actually makes it easier to have someone push the poles through while you help them through the tent sleeves. It was very spacious plenty of room for two beds with a big space in the middle. It has a good quality zipper that dosent catch and the seams look pretty good.
Cool features are the extension cord pass thru the screened air inlet near the floor and the gear stash. I did not test in rain or wind yet. Oh and I can stand up in it at 6′ UPDATE. I did test in rain and it did really well no leaks. I put two queen mattresses and a twin sideways between them and it left a lot of room for dogs and junk in the middle and at the end of the beds. One thing about this style of tent is you have to use stakes or the ends dont stay out, they will collapse you cant put this up without staking the ends down somehow. Great tent.
